Is the worst time to go into business the best time?
Posted by: | CommentsMany people feel that going into business during a bad economic stretch is a bad idea but sometimes it’s a good idea. If my cash flow plan is solid I’d rather go into business during bad times than good. Why?Because during bad times:
- better employees are available
- rents are lower
- contractors are cheaper
- advertisers are hungrier
And generally speaking, the people you need to pay to get you into business are more willing to negotiate and be flexible…both on price and on payment terms.
The only insurance for success is a bullet proof plan and an iron will to succeed.
