Because when a business buyer sees that there are systems in place they don’t fear that the business is all in the head of the owner. This is encouraging to a buyer because if the owner goes to the beach and turns off her cell phone, the business isn’t dead. If you’re a business owner who LIKES having the entire value of the business in your head, you’re a nut job control freak who has no right to complain about your business!
